Bespoke Care Sheffield

A home care service you can trust

Who We Are

Bespoke Care was set up in 2017 by two lifelong friends and health professionals, Karen and Kerry. Karen is a nurse and Kerry is a physiotherapist, with a combined 50 plus years experience of delivering quality care.

Both have had first-hand experience of a family member needing to be cared for at home.  This experience gave them insight into the stress and worry of facing strangers looking after a loved one and also the challenges faced when providing care for someone.

Our Aims & Objectives

Our aim is to provide a bespoke service acknowledging you as a unique individual.  We aim to foster an atmosphere of care and support with you the service user which both enables and encourages you to live as full, interesting and independent a life as possible.

Your safety is our priority and we will ensure that all individuals delivering the service to you are compliant with the health and safety procedures of Bespoke Care and are aware of how to raise safeguarding concerns.

We are meticulous in our recruitment of staff to ensure that only staff who share our high standards, values and beliefs become part of the Bespoke Care team.

Our Services

We provide care to clients by private arrangement, by direct payment and by a council arranged service. We are currently providing care in the Stannington, Wisewood, Chapeltown, High Green and Ecclesfield areas of the City. We are registered with the care quality commission to provide personal care services to people aged 18 years and over, in their own homes.

Corona virus has presented many challenges for all of us over the last 18 months. We have been extra busy over this period of time, providing a safe, continuous service for our service users.

We have worked closely with the health authority and social services at this time. We have been able to effectively manage service users being discharged from hospital at a much quicker pace than previously, thereby trying to help relieve the pressures faced by the NHS.

We have changed several practices during this time to comply with the rules and keep our service users and staff safe and well. These include :

We currently have all our staff training online.

A huge increase in the amount of PPE we purchase every week.

We have policies and procedures in place to enforce staff wear PPE at every visit, and in fact introduced this before the Government made it mandatory.

We regularly spot check our staff to ensure this guidance is being followed.

Our staff are tested for coronavirus on a daily basis.

All staff have been supported and encouraged to be vaccinated.

We have distributed up to date information and any changes to staff as it becomes available.

We have increased staffing levels to ensure a continuity of support to our service users.
